Our Review:
You should know the story from the movie. Indy's father gets kidnapped because of his notes he has found on the Holy Grail. Indy finds the notes and goes looking for him and the Grail in the beautiful Venice, Italy. Well, I don't know. I loved the movie, so obviously I liked the story of the game too. The 'music' adds a nice atmosphere, the graphics are very nicely done, however the puzzles are uninteresting and frustrating. Some of the bits and pieces you are expected to find, are really out there! The mazes in the sewers, the zeppelin and the castle are very boring and (I think) very unnecessary. There are many different paths you can take through the game, and as a result there are a few different endings too. Its interesting to note that while you don't need to pickup all the items you see along the way, doing so can help you quite a lot so it is really in your best interest to do so.. I can't really say the same for the puzzles though, as all they seem to do is confuse! All in all though, not too bad a game and if you're a fan of Indiana Jones, and not so much a fan of the German Nazi's.. then set aside a few days and try and work your way through this classic.
