Starquake was available on many platforms back in its day. You are BLOB (not to be confused with Bob the Tomato or any tomato with eyes) and you are searching for the parts of the world so you can save it. There are countless enemies to encounter which you zap to death (or run away from). You can fall long distances without splatting, build little platform things to help you climb everywhere, and use a cool little hovercraft.
