Death Rally is a great top-view racer/shooter style game which reminds me very much of Rock n' Roll Racing from the SNES console. You race against 3 other players in other a easy, medium, or hard race - each with their varying degree of difficulty. Pickup powerups as you race and try and blow your opponents off the track! Watch out for the spectators though, as if you're not careful you'll run over them and kill them!
As with many other great top-view style racers, at the end of each race - depending on where you finish and how many bonus dollars you picked up throughout the race - you get money in the bank which you can spend on repairing and upgrading your car. There is even an underground market from which you can buy 'illegal' weapons to give yourself the extra edge over your opponents.
All in all, a nice game created by Apogee, with many hours of enjoyment.
